From: Charles Ulrich <ulrich@sfu.ca>   This track was recorded in Salt Lake City, Utah, on December 7, 1981. It is FZ's solo from "Zoot Allures", played on the Hendrix Strat. "Zoot Allures" first appeared on the album of the same name.

Chalk Pie was also the title of an unreleased album, planned for release in 1982. Most of the tracks were instead released on Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch or Man From Utopia.
